Collaborating with designers Amanda Wang, Catherine Stirling, and Tegan Welsh, we introduced the vehicle safety campaign "Does it Check out?" in response to the re:act program's 2022 brief to raise awareness of the benefits of purchasing safer vehicles and to integrate safety into the conversation when young drivers are buying a vehicle.
Our campaign highlights the importance of checking for safety features before making a purchase and demonstrates that safer cars can be affordable on any budget. To make the topic easy to digest and relatable, we chose to use the task of grocery shopping and food quality as a metaphor for researching and purchasing safe cars.
